You feel bored, you fear being abandoned, you long for understanding, in the void there is nothing to do but move forward..

A path, subtle at first but growing in light, stretches before you. As you walk, it solidifies. Made of light, and both precarious in the abyss and reassuring. In the way of dreams you are one moment walking the void and the next you’re in a vast library. Or at least at the entrance to one. Through the glass doors you can see stacks of books, rooms of books, but at the entrance is a high tech machine asking you for your name, password, and ID. There’s a place with a handprint you could put your hand in.

...Huh! Well, this is interesting.

[ Crow is not well-suited for a void, but somehow this kind of calm feels fitting for the person it's meant to represent. Still, he doesn't stick around for long-- he sees the path and travels along... to a library apparently.

Well, that also suits Rean. ]

Let's see how this goes...

[ It's way more high-tech than anything Crow is used to but he can figure out that handprint part easily enough so he puts his hand on it. ]

“ID Confirmed.” the machine beeps as it scans your hand. And a little visitor pass with your name and photo is printed. There’s a slot in the door for it.

[ Crow takes the visitor pass, flips it over to looks a the picture. ]

Not bad at all.

[ And then he puts the pass in the slot at the door. ]

You are let in!

It seems that the library itself is mainly made out of rooms. Through the glass doors in every room are endless shelves of books. Many, many of the rooms have red lights and “no entry” on them. But a few are lit green. A sign informs you this is the archive. And a computer terminal might help you pull up the references you want without having to search through every room. There are such categories as “feelings”, “people”, and “memories” though many of the categories of memories are marked red, no access.

You can also print yourself a pass to a different destination from here, though every destination is blank, you’ll have to fill that in yourself.

"Welcome, Awakener."

The terminal greets you. As far as categories go, you seem to have access to all of them. What do you want to google?

[ He's googling "people" first, starting with himself. ]

A lot of the file is corrupted data. But there is a bit at the beginning. Some about him being a member of Class VII, a gambling addict, a really fun and also shady person--

A lot of nothing. Most of the file is unreadable, corrupted beyond use.

But then towards the end there's a bit about him, referencing him as a Divine Knight, a few scattered legible mentions of battles, some against and some beside? It's hard to say. Even just reading the wording is a bit hazy on the details of what does exist.

You're not really sure yourself, huh?

[ But Crow isn't surprised. He'd wondered about that for a while, actually. ]

I guess there's nothing to do about that for now...

[ Unfortunately, Crow isn't good enough with computers to try to save the data.

There's some you know, just factual information. If you want to read through every encounter with Rean it's there. From meeting to now. Hey there's even the lewd bits, all well documented and steamy. As well as all the cute conversations, the casual hanging out.

Then on the less factual end there's opinions.

Crow.... I love him. I'm worried about him. I won't be around forever, and I want to know he'll be happy. He keeps too much to himself, whatever hurts or bothers him he laughs off. He lies about what he feels or covers it up... I guess that's normal. Human nature in a way. But he cares so deeply too, I wish he could open up. It must be difficult, to have forgotten everything... I mean I know it is, I guess. I wish I could be around for him more, when he actually needs me. I feel a bit like I've been useless, this contract has been very one-sided.

I'm scared of losing him. Or him losing me.

There's more, just basically about Crow, honest thoughts, flattering or not, his fondness and respect for Crow is right there to read.

[ The lewd bits are some of his favourite parts to read about, though the cute conversations are pretty nice too. He slows down when he gets to the opinions, reads them carefully. ]

[ He thinks about that for a moment and adds to his message: ]

"Also, I wouldn't mind it if you tied me to your bed and had your way with me some time."

[ And then there's one more edit to his message after a moment: ]

"I love you."

[ Because it's easier to tell his soul than it is, you know, his face. ]

".....That's the way you wanna tell me, seriously?"

Rean leans on your shoulder, looking at the screen.

[ He looks over at Rean. ]

Gimme a break, it's hard to say the words!

"I already know, you know."
