You float in a void--darkness around you, above, below, in every direction, nothing. You stand on nothing, you even breathe nothing. But you do not feel in danger, you are not suffocating. You are simply existing in… Nothing.

Man, this is fun.
She wants to fish with him, though, or something, but teasing him is really good. Who knew! (Crow, probably.)
But she does take a gently glowing blue thumb and wipes the tearstains from his face, at the very least.

"We can fish. If you want."
GRUDGINGLY.
no subject
Oh, that means he must be hearing all her thoughts about how cute and charming he is like this, what good grump. This side of him is Pretty Good, actually.
"Ah. Very well, then."
no subject
He grumbles and picks up the fishing rod and goes to where it looks like this is a good spot or whatever.
no subject
Ahhh, worth it.
She casts a line, but keeps her thoughts carefully blank, letting the setting take its course for her. She doesn't want her fishing to be predictable, after all.
no subject
But he fishes next to her, settling slowly into the peacefulness and enjoyment of just... Fishing.
no subject
But fishing is...nice. It's nice to fish with him, actually, she did not realise having someone here like this could be. She's...come to enjoy the company of some other people, but it's fewer still those that she can enjoy near complete silence with. It feels...fuller, somehow, but not stifling.
no subject
He's not saying anything though, and he is getting calmer and less depressed as the (infinite?) time wears on. Nothing really seems to need to be said. It's peaceful, and the company is nice, and that's enough.
no subject
She is not certain how much time passes, and she isn't certain her internal clock will help her on that matter, but she gets an itch at the back of her mind that she ignores at first--she's good at that--but it persists, and she allows it to because she knows it's right.
She needs to move on.
She catches another fish and releases it before reeling her line back in.
"Perhaps I should get going, soon...."
...
no subject
"I guess so."
It's not like he cares or anything!
no subject
"Um, Instructor? Thank you...for looking out for me."
She won't say when!! And he likely won't remember shit so she can say it now.
no subject
"I don't remember doing anything like that." Except maybe when she was a kid. But he's not owning up to anything.
no subject
Sigh, she really is a terrible and useless coward who can't do anything right, but she's never argued otherwise. Still...perhaps she will make an exception this time and say it properly later, after all, she does not like unpaid debts.
no subject
Evidence, his very nice dwelling instead of corpse mountains.
no subject
"Where should I go next, if you had to wager?"
no subject
"I can't tell you what to do. Where do you want to go?"
no subject
"I still would like to..." he--aid, she doesn't say. "but I am not certain how. You've a lot of issues...do they all stem from you?"
no subject
no subject
Her thoughts are carefully blank.
