She is not certain how much time passes, and she isn't certain her internal clock will help her on that matter, but she gets an itch at the back of her mind that she ignores at first--she's good at that--but it persists, and she allows it to because she knows it's right.

She needs to move on.

She catches another fish and releases it before reeling her line back in.

"I do, so I am thanking you." With gentle firmness. It is easy to be this way when she knows he cannot know it outside his heart, not properly.

Sigh, she really is a terrible and useless coward who can't do anything right, but she's never argued otherwise. Still...perhaps she will make an exception this time and say it properly later, after all, she does not like unpaid debts.
