[ he may have glanced around the room a little but then again maybe not. he doesn’t seem to hesitate before shifting to make his way over, sitting with his shoulder leaned against Phoenix ]

[The end result is leaning against Yasuragi, gently. So whatever Yasuragi is thinking, well, he has no idea, he's not sure he should ask in front of people, but he does try to take his hand because whatever, this person is his person.]

Can't I be glad when the feeling's mutual? But I won't object to you saying that as often as you want.

[ laces their fingers together and kisses his cheek ]

[Oh. Exhales softly and closes his eyes for a second, before lifting their linked fingers and kissing Yasuragi's fingers.]

[ he feels a little like he was doing well up until this point but now he has run out of magic. he does not under any circumstances want to ask Phoenix “how are you feeling” right now but it’s practically the only thing he can think of.

he casts around in his own head for a couple seconds before finally pulling out ]

[He's keeping Yasuragi's fingers against his lips, eyes half closed, breathing against his skin.]

I care because I'd care about who's important to you, but I don't care in the jealousy sense, if that's what you mean.

[It's comforting really, and he's smiling a little, just leaning lightly on Yasuragi and enjoying his presence.]

He'll kiss back gently, letting it be brief but honestly affectionate.]
