Phoenix: Okay, I'll bite. Are you from his timeline?

Ophania Iago Quick☆Silver: I am. How much has he told you?

Phoenix: Not that much. He's old and he's taken Ordine's place because I messed up.

Ophania Iago Quick☆Silver: Correct. That is, of course, true of all of the awakeners you may remember. What he hasn't told you is that we, like the knights before us, require an awakener's mana to function. We can fill the gap temporarily through other means, which he has no problem doing, but in the long-term it's detrimental to his health to avoid a contract, which he does have problems with. I assumed you were unaware of the severity of the problem or else he wouldn't be allowed to run about without one.

Phoenix: No. I didn't know. I should have guessed though.

Ophania Iago Quick☆Silver: Well, now you can nag him all you like and his fate is off my conscience.

Phoenix: What about you?

Ophania Iago Quick☆Silver: I'll find a contract as soon as I've settled in and made initial observations.

Phoenix: All right. I don't know as many people as I used to but if you need any insights I'd be happy to share what I know. Your unit is really cute, too.

Ophania Iago Quick☆Silver: Ah, Rean. Ever the eager helper.

Phoenix: I'll take that as a "no thanks" but the offer's always open.
